富贵平安》二度入围“最佳男配角”。
获知角色被提名，徐鸣杰感非常开心，“鹿小强这个角色很讨喜，入围绝非我的个人功劳，非常感谢《
富贵平安》演员们和工作人员。”
入行6年，徐鸣杰固然希望演技能够获得专业奖项的认可，不过若没得奖他也不会气馁，以平常心面对。
他看好陈邦鋆获奖，“我知道他为了角色下了很多心思。”
徐鸣杰也认为同剧演员陈泂江没入围“最佳男配角”是遗珠之憾。“他表现很棒！很可惜没入围。”
女友陈凤玲今年也没入围任何专业奖项，他认为，入围与否不在他们控制范围，“最重要是我们的付出获得观众的反馈。”
他力挺女友演技好，期待她的新剧《法网天后》能角逐明年的《红星大奖》“最佳女主角”，“我有到片场探班，觉得她把角色诠释得非常好。”
徐鸣杰去年首次入围《红星大奖2016》“十大最受欢迎男女艺人”，他承诺，若得奖的话，就会亲吻陈凤玲，顺利获奖后真的实现诺言，在庆功宴上，轻吻了对方的脸颊。
今年若获得“最佳男配角”会作什么？
他打趣说：“不告诉你……哈哈！没有啦，我还不知道，没去想。（会求婚？）不会啦！”
徐鸣杰去年10月公开与陈凤玲热恋后，人气火旺，拍片邀约不断，可谓事业爱情两得意。
问他女友带旺他的事业？
他坦言，一部分观众认识他，或多或少因为女友，“毕竟她入行比较久，有一定的知名度。某种程度上，我是沾了一点光…不过我也很努力。”
面对网上的冷言冷语，徐鸣杰坦然面对，“只要把份内工作做好就好，不会受影响，选择公开表示我已做好准备。”
徐鸣杰与陈凤玲不打算同居
陈凤玲日前出席活动时透露，来临农历新年将带母亲到男友上海家拜年。
这次是否会顺便谈婚事？
他强调：“没有啦，这次只是一起过年，不是见家长谈婚论嫁。事实上伯母（陈妈妈）已见过我妈妈，这次主要会见更多亲戚朋友。”
徐鸣杰透露陈凤玲为了这次的见面，准备了多份新年贺礼。
“我的家人真的很多，所以她会紧张和担心，问我亲戚喜欢什么，我安抚她说‘人去就好了，他们都喜欢你，只是想见你’。”
他计划带陈凤玲到亲戚朋友家吃年夜饭外，也包车结伴到杭州玩。
他透露原本安排陈凤玲和陈妈妈住旅馆，不过为了让他们与家人多相处，最后决定住自己家，“她和伯母会睡我的床，我可能和爸爸睡。”
两人感情稳定，有没有想过同居？
徐鸣杰斩钉截铁说：“不可能！ 我们非常认真对待这段感情，希望作每一个决定都经过慎重考虑，同居是绝对不会。”

Will wedding bells toll for Jeffrey Xu and Felicia Chin this year?Having dated for over a year, after attempting to conceal their relationship from the media, we won’t be surprised should Jeffrey Xu and Felicia Chin surprise us with news of a flash wedding, especially since their parents are about to officially
meet this Chinese New Year in China.
The actor explained, even before
the topic of marriage was brought up, that they are “just gathering” to celebrate Chinese New Year. “It has nothing to do with getting married, don’t worry!” he added reassuringly, “Marriage is definitely not easy, because every relationship has its challenges.”
To ready themselves for life after marriage, does he have plans to take their relationship to the next stage, by asking the 32 year-old actress to move in with him since he lives alone in Singapore?
The 28-year-old flat out rejected the idea, “That is impossible. We want everyone to know that being in a relationship is not just a fad, I have never thought of cohabiting with Felicia because we are responsible adults and we will leave that to after marriage”.
Although the couple is against the idea of cohabiting before getting married, they will get a taste of what it’s like living under the same roof during their upcoming trip to the actor’s hometown in Shanghai this coming weekend.
The actress will be bringing her mother along to meet Jeffrey’s family and close friends to celebrate the festive occasion and their seven-day trip will also include a family road trip to Hangzhou for some sightseeing.
Contrary to his girlfriend’s nerves, the actor is “totally cool” with the idea of their parents meeting and he is far from anxious about it.
“She keeps asking me to tell her what my relatives are fond of, so she can get them some presents, but I assured her that they like her so her presence will be their present,” he said.
Apart from his smooth-sailing relationship, things are progressing swimmingly for Jeffrey at work too as the two-time Asian Television Award nominee is poised to bring home his very first Best Supporting Award (he is nominated for his jovial character, Lu Xiao Qiang, in long form drama
Peace and Prosperity), at the upcoming Star Awards 2017.
“I was really surprised to be nominated and I’m really grateful to the cast and crew I worked with in
Peace and Prosperity, I owe this nomination to them,” he said.
Jeffrey admitted that although he does not have high hopes of bringing the award home because Andie Chen is a strong contender, “winning it will definitely be an acknowledgement of the hard work I’ve put in.”
He also felt that it was a pity that Felicia did not get nominated this year for a performance award but he was confident that she will be able to achieve greater results in the coming year.
After surprising everyone—and Felicia—with a
hug on stage at last year’s award show and a kiss on the cheek at the post-show ceremony, is he planning to do anything similar for this year’s show?
“Everyone’s asking me about this,” he replied sheepishly, “I really don’t know but I’m definitely not proposing!”
