The lovebirds spilled the beans on their relationship during their cover shoot. Here's an excerpt of their love story.
What were your first impressions of each other?
Felicia: The first time we met was in the rugby drama, Scrum (circa 2014), and I thought that he was a bit arrogant and didn’t talk much. I tried to initiate conversation to break the ice, but he only gave me one or two sentences.
Jeffrey: My first impression of Felicia was her attractive appearance and cool dress sense. She had a classy air about her and seemed very well-read. My silence wasn’t because I was arrogant, but because I didn’t want people to see us talking and jump to conclusions that I was wooing her or trying to ride on her popularity.
At which point did the attraction become something else?
Jeffrey: It was in Life — Fear Not (2015-2016), where I played one of Felicia’s boyfriends. Somehow, the proximity made me let my guard down and allow us to chat comfortably. She's a great listener, very generous and encouraging. She'd message me things like ‘I really think your acting is good, keep up the good work.’ She even took me to her church and bought me a book, which really touched me.
Felicia: For me, it got to a point that whenever I saw the show’s rundown, I would always check if his name was on the list. And if we’re in the same scene, I'd be very happy. That’s when I realised I really liked him. After getting to know him, we found out we had a lot in common like our religion. That’s probably why we got together so quickly in just two months!

Can you offer some relationship advice?
Felicia: We’ve learnt each other’s love language, which really helps a lot. It’s very good to keep that in mind and note that it will change over time. For Jeffrey, he likes words of encouragement, acts of service and quality time. Last time, it used to be receiving gifts.
Jeffrey: Having the same values will help steer the relationship forward and just having a genuine affection for each other will help you love each better.
What do you love about each other?
Felicia: He’s very kind, very pure, and loving. I'm fortunate to have a boyfriend who cares and is mature enough to talk about our future and starting a family. That shows just how serious he is about us. I’m truly impressed!
Jeffrey: Felicia is very kind-hearted and always puts others before herself, but as her boyfriend, I have to put her first. And I’ll ask her to remember to put herself first.
Sounds like you both are ready to take the plunge!
Felicia: We still want to enjoy the process of dating and get to know each other. But when the time is right, we'll know it. We will listen to God.
